JDHCP Project News

9/13/99:

JDHCP-1.1.1 released! See CHANGELOG for more detailts. After a number of revisions and rewrites, JDHCP has matured some. Send me bugs!! and your ideas for the 1.2 series. Design documents to come!!

8/25/99:

The development goals of JDHCP have shifted to focus more on the API, instead of the DynamicCmdr project. If anyone is insterested in seeing the resultant code from the DynamicCmdr project, please let me know. Focusing on the API and making it a robost project will hopefully result in more exciting projects in the future. There may be an effort to write a DHCP server or fully operational client using JDHCP. We will see.

3/20/99:

DynamicCmdr home page is up and includes a preview screenshot of our progress. Further technical information on the development and design of DynamicCmdr will be included as the project progresses.

3/07/99:

JDHCP is being considered for a project called Enhydra JavaTM Application Server. The project is combining many opensource components, like JDHCP, into a robust enterprise system.

2/01/99:

12/02/98:

Reports are in! JDHCP 1.0.0 works on Linux, Solaris, Win 9x and MacOS 8.x. Ran with numerous Java 1.1 compliant JVM's. Thanks to all who tested! Got any bugs?
